Some might say that sunshine follows thunder
Go and tell it to - the man who can not shine
Some might say that we should nev-er ponder
On our thoughts to-day
'Cause they hold sway ov-er time
Some might say~~~ - we will find a brighter day
Some might say - we will find a brighter day
'Cause I've been standing at the station
In need of ed-u-ca-tion in the rain ~~~~~~
You made no prep-a-ra-tion
For my rep-u-ta-tion once a-gain ~~~~~
The sink is full of fishes
'Cause she's got dirty dishes on the brain~~~~~
It was over flowing gently
But it's all el-e-ment'ry, my friend ~~~~~~
'Cause I've been standing at the station
In need of ed-u-ca-tion in the rain ~~~~~~
You made no prep-a-ra-tion
For my rep-u-ta-tion once a-gain ~~~~~
The sink is full of fishes
'Cause she's got dirty dishes on the brain~~~~~
It was over flowing gently
But it's all el-e-ment'ry, my friend ~~~~~~
And my dogs been itching
Itching in the kitchen once again~~~~~~
Some might say (you know what some might say)
You know what some might say
You know what some might say
You know what some might say
You know what some might say
