The room was fi-lled with men.
And the pa-pers they were signing said,
Theyd ne-ver fight a--gain.
And when the pa-pers all were signed,
And a million co---pies made,
They all joined hands and bowed their heads,
And greatful prayers were prayed.
And the people in the streets below,
Were dancing a-ll a--round.
And guns and swords and u-ni-forms,
Were scattered o--n the ground.
